Sharing Music, Spreading Joy
On June 14th of 2025, we brought with us, not just music, but the hope of connecting with the kids to Salt Spring Island. Once we arrived, we spent the day performing for them, and allowing them to test out a variety of instruments. It was truly a special experience to see the kids light up with joy as they discovered the power of music through instruments like the flute, clarinet, piano, cello, and more. Some kids seemed hesitant at first, but it didn't take long for them to join in and quickly find their passions. Their open minds and willingness to learn really touched our hearts, and reminded us of why we love music. What made the experience even more meaningful is how it wasn't just about playing music, but it was also about making memories. Many of the children, after playing the instruments, expressed an interest in learning how to play them! This touched the hearts of all of us and it meant so much to see them really enjoying music.
